Affiliate Program Terms
These terms apply to everyone participating in the birthchart.net affiliate program. By signing up you agree to them.
1. Eligibility
Anyone aged 18 or older can apply. We manually review whether your channel or website fits our audience before processing payouts. We reserve the right to reject or close accounts that don't align with our values or with the rules in these terms.
2. Commission
You earn 15% commission on every successful sale we can attribute to your referral link.
Commission is calculated on:
- order amounts excluding tax;
- after any discounts have been applied;
- excluding shipping costs.
No commission is paid on:
- gift card sales;
- orders that get cancelled or refunded;
- orders you place yourself, directly or indirectly.
3. Tracking and cookie window
When someone clicks your referral link we drop a first-party cookie. If they buy within 30 days, the sale is attributed to you. Where multiple affiliates are involved during that window, we use last-click attribution: the last affiliate before the purchase gets the commission.
We use cookie tracking and shopping-cart tracking in parallel. As soon as the visitor adds something to their cart, your referral code gets stamped onto that cart, so attribution still works even if the cookie gets cleared later.
4. Hold period and payouts
Every sale has a 14-day hold before the commission becomes final. This covers our returns and cancellation window. If an order is returned or cancelled during this period, the commission is reversed.
Payouts are made manually each month to the PayPal account in your profile, provided your available balance is above €20. Smaller balances roll over to the following month.
5. What's not allowed
To keep the program fair and sustainable, the following are not allowed:
- Ordering through your own referral link, directly or indirectly (self-purchases).
- Paid ads on our brand names or domain names without prior written approval.
- Cookie stuffing, iframe abuse, or other techniques that generate artificial clicks.
- Spider sites, cashback sites, or coupon sites without genuine content or added value.
- Misleading claims about our products or fake discount codes.
- Spam, unsolicited email campaigns, or posting in channels the recipient hasn't opted into.
6. Termination
You can stop at any time by closing your account in settings or by contacting us. We can end your participation if any of the rules above are broken, or if we have reasonable grounds to believe they are. In case of fraudulent activity, the open balance is forfeited.
7. Taxes
You are responsible for correctly reporting income from this program to the tax authority in the country where you're tax-resident.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. For material changes we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect, so you have time to review the new terms or close your account.
